That's it.  It's out there.  When you look me up on amazon, you now get a hit (both .com AND the .co.uk versions!)

I hummed and hahed about publicizing it on this blog.  You have been my biggest supporters, after all.  But, well, the title page doesn't say "Res" and, as Buddy noted, that would result in an uncomfortable mix of my personas.

So, if you're interested in checking out the baby you're going to have to be a little bit clever.  Or drop me a line and I'll whisper in your ear.

After almost 18 months, I've reached the end of my project.  It didn't all go according to plan, and there were many, many painful moments, but still, I achieved something.  I wrote a book.  An entire one.  Some people have read it.  A few more may still.  Maybe one of them will really like it.

And that's already something.

Don't ever give up that writing spirit that you have got. It is a talent that you need to nourish & cherish. Hoping that one day you will get your book published! At least you did finish a project so many people tell they want to do but never manage to bring to a successful end. YOUR book got writen and this for sure something that calls for some extra bottles of champagne to empty in the company of good friends or readers! You rock!

A common acquaintance just posted about your book on FB. Connecting the dots was easy enough...

I subscribed to your blog some time ago (2007?), when looking for "Insead Blogs" before starting there myself. It almost feels like stalking, now that I know your real name and I can look up your CV on LinkedIn etc. You could have used a pen name for your book, no? Also the only amazon review looks a lot like a fake.

In any case I would have never guessed your current employer.

Keep on blogging..

Tell me, dammit!! *grin* I think you know where to whisper, but if not, go to my blog & the contact form there, which goes directly to my email.

I saw Sion's comment on a recent blog post of hers and high-tailed it over here to read the good news re: your baby. :)

Hope things are well for you, my dear. Miss you! :)

OK, so, just to set the record straight, the review is not actually fake. Poor Miss M, if only she knew.

Wow 2 reviews now on Amazon! I tried to scam a free peek inside, but it told me I needed to have a Kindle to see a preview. Technology!

Wow, Anonymous over here is trying to rain on your parade. Unless I'm reading this in the wrong tone... someone doesn't quite understand the benefits of being nice to people in your alumni network.

So excited for you, Res! Looking forward to reading it when I find some time to breathe!

Just to clarify, I (Anonymous #2) have no connection to Anonymous#1.
